Detecting Lye Using Body Language.Q - A

I had two questions which I'd like to answer. But before that,I'd like to say that posts were about the liars, whom we know, not strangers. Therefore it would be easier to detect lye, when a person you know behaves unusually, because you are familiar with that person and know their habits, tastes, way of talking etc.Detecting lye through nonverbal communication is the key, although words themselves matter. You should observe whether posture and gestures of the person match with the talk.Be belingual, for a change...

Q:What about body language that tells you they are lying to you...but don't want to be lying to you? Is there such a thing?

A:It's very important to look out for not just one clue, but overall body language. If they touched their nose it might be they are trying to hide smth or it might be they indeed needed to scratch it.But if there are few other things that you notice in their behavior, like they escape looking in your eyes (one of the most important),use inproper order of words, trying to avoid the topic or any other strange behavior, there is great chance they are lying.

Q:Can you tell if a person is lying to you consciously (thinking about their lies as they talk to you) or not?

A:If the person prepaired him/herself in advance and knows at least something about body language, then it'll be a tough task,at least for me.If you still suspect,I'd suggest you to persist.Use different methods I suggested before.Eventually time of the truth will come as they can't think just about this lie, they have other problems as well.

There are virtuos people that can masque their lye as it is truth.I knew such a person. With time I could distinguish when it went faulse, but probably far not all times. Now I'm just taking baby steps in learning body language. It's very interesting field to explore for me.I'm learning while I'm teaching.

In nearest posts I'll cover how to destinguish if a stranger is lying to you.
Meantime if you have any questions, for God sake, ask .This will give me a clue what's of interest to you and how this can help you in your business.

Hi Lena,

If they say "Can I be honest with you..." or they talk a lot about how trustworthy and moral they are, then I assume I am dealing with a liar.

Hi , Lena
Every one reacts differently when lying, some may do one thing that is a giveaway but yet others may do something completely different. I know people who use body language as part of their every day jobs. They will establish a report with a person to determine what they act like when they are telling the truth, then when it comes to the hard questions, if they do not react the same way then it is a tell tale sign that they are lying.
You’re doing great, maybe try posting about a specific part of the bodies language…mirroring and how you can use it to attract another, or when presenting how to read your audience are they keeping their energy up and interested or blankly staring up at you….

Lena,

The is a phenomenon called "leakage" which is the subconscious release of anxiety cause by lying... twitching, leg movement, nose scratching, etc... This is one of the cues to look for when communicating with someone.

I would like to trust everyone but trust no one until they prove me wrong or right.

Make sense.
